Will December be good month for DCS: F/A-18C? Apparently yes!

Another DCS World mini-update is out thanks to Matt Wagner from Eagle Dynamics and this time it’s a small update on the future plans for the DCS: F/A-18C. Let’s have a look!

December a good month?

According to Matt Wagner, December will be a good month for the Hornet with development priorities returning to the Hornet after the DCS: F-16C received the bulk of the programming support to get the module out the door and then to correct at least a few of the more glaring omissions on launch.

Now it’s the Hornet’s turn according to Mr. Wagner:

Much of the team is now focused on big updates for the Hornet! This entails Track While Scan radar mode, AACQ, SPOT, new targeting pod features, improvements to the flight dynamics (like ground effect issue), and others. December should be a great month for the Hornet.

Thank you for your patience.

Matt Wagner

In addition to this note, community manager NineLine has recently been active on the r/Hoggit subreddit and has been providing us with some useful information. It appears that ED is making a bit of a push on the Hornet to get some features either finished or moved forward.

I am unsure exactly, I know a lot of Hornet reports internally have become heavy active, I dont always know what who is doing, etc. I just know the Hornet push is ramping up.

This is all good news for fans of the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet module and it appears that Eagle Dynamics is now attempting to find some sort of equilibrium between the different modules they are currently working on.

Stay tuned for more!
