Another DCS: Syria map featuring Bekaa Valley

The latest DCS: Syria video out from Eagle Dynamics’ Matt Wagner shows off another new location on the DCS: Syria map – this time its the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Let’s have a look!

Hornet’s over Bekaa

The Bekaa Valley sitting on the border of Lebanon and Syria has seen many modern and historic battles fought over it with some notable clashes in 1973 and again in 1982 among others. In this latest video with Matt Wagner, he walks us through a precision strike up that valley with the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet.

With a lower angle of the sun, this latest video shows the sweeping valleys and ridgelines that run through the region. As far as helicopter and jet fighter combat goes, this should be a great area for low level runs and terrain masking against SAM sites.

Have a look at the video here!

The map is out for pre-order, but not on Steam, and it won’t be.

    Upset is me!

It’s a common problem. Steam policy doesn’t seem to allow for DLC pre-order. 1CGS also can’t offer early access “DLC” (it’s not really) although their system seems better as you can mix and match Steam and IL-2 store on a linked account.
