In celebration of the IL-2: Great Battles Hurricane Mark II Collector Plane release, I’ve worked with a couple of members of the community to give away a Hurricane Mark II Collector Plane. Did I say one? Because I have five to give away! Here’s how you can enter to win.

The story behind the give-away

The release of the Hurricane Mark II and my review going live earlier today seems cause enough to do a give away and get this incredibly fun early war fighter into the hands of some more sim pilots. I’m offering up two, two more are being donated from a friend of Stormbirds.blog and one more comes from Requiem from the Air Combat Tutorial Library and =RS= Funkie.

Speaking of Requiem’s Air Combat Tutorial Library, we’ll be doing the give away using his recently launched Discord community. I highly recommend joining this community if you’re a fan of IL-2, DCS or flying in general. It’s intended to be a place where you can ask questions, get answers, learn how to fly new aircraft, or find people to fly with.

In-case you missed it, Requiem’s ‘Learn to fly the Hawker Hurricane Mk. II’ is already live on his channel so you’ll be able to study up on how best to fly this aircraft.

Here are the details

To enter to win one of five (5) Hurricane Mark II Collector Planes for IL-2: Great Battles this is what you must do:

1. Own at least one title in the IL-2: Great Battles Series (for best experience, own Battle of Moscow or Stalingrad so you can take advantage of the single player experience). A Collector Plane is no good without another piece of the series to fly it with.
2. Join Requiem’s Discord with this invite.
3. Go to the #giveaway-page and locate the Hurricane Mark II giveaway. React to the giveaway and wait.

The winners will be announced Saturday and contacted shortly thereafter via Discord direct message. If the winner does not respond in 7 days we’ll re-roll and send it to a new winner. If (and I’m not sure if this is possible) the same name gets drawn twice, we’ll re-roll and distribute it to another lucky winner.
