Single player pilots make up a large contingent of the DCS World user community and tonight many of you may rejoice as the campaign side of the DCS World store has been updated with six new campaign experiences covering a wide range of aircraft and interest areas. One of the campaigns even comes with its own soundtrack. Let’s check it out!

Six to choose from

From the serious to the slightly over the top, there are six new campaigns available in the DCS World e-Store. They range in price and offer a variety of experiences and requirements. Here’s a brief overview of each campaign and why it may interest you.

Sky Warrior Campaign by Eagle86

• Aircraft: AV-8B
• Requirements: DCS World 2.5.6
• Missions: 11
• Price: $9.99 USD

In this campaign, a Georgian Presidential candidate refuses to concede and causes a civil war that splits the country. The USS Tarawa is called in to intercede and stabilize the situation. You take on the role of a pilot of a Harrier pilot flying 11 missions complete with kneeboard and interaction between wingmen and other assets. The campaign also apparently includes some sort of soundtrack for each mission.

Rising Squall by INVERTED

• Aircraft: F/A-18C
• Requirements: DCS: F/A-18C, DCS: Persian Gulf, DCS: Supercarrier (is desired)
• Missions: Unknown
• Price: $19.99

This Ace Combat inspired, story driven campaign features a story driven campaign set on a fictional world complete with professional voice actors, custom liveries, and a soundtrack by Ace Combat composer Keiki Kobayashi.

Zone 5 Campaign by Reflected Simulations

• Aircraft: F-14A
• Requirements: DCS: F-14, DCS: Nevada
• Missions: 13-missions
• Price: $13.99 USD

Created by Reflected Simulations in coordination with F-14 RIO Dave ‘Bio’ Baranek who has with 2,500 of flight time. ‘Bio’ trained at the famed fighter tactics and weapons training program (you might know it as TOP GUN) and later returned as an instructor. The campaign provides a taste of what air combat training was like in the 1980’s and includes kneeboards and one thousand custom voice overs.

Red Flag 21-1 Campaign by Bunyap Campaigns

• Aircraft: F-16C
• Requirements: DCS: F-16C, DCS: Nevada
• Missions: 10-missions
• Price: $9.99 USD

The legendary Bunyap Campaigns returns with a meticulously researched campaign for DCS: F-16C featuring 10-missions based on actual Red Flag exercises. It comes with a 20-page Campaign Guide and 50-page Standard Operating Procedures document that walks you through the entire experience. It also has hundreds of voice overs. The campaign description also says that it focuses on you facing down Chinese hardware including the J-11A.

Black Sea Resolve ’79 Сampaign by SorelRo

• Aircraft: F-5E
• Requirements: DCS: F-5E,
• Missions: 25-missions
• Price: $12.99 USD

SorelRo’s new campaign is a 25 story-driven missions feast with over 300-voiceovers set during a fictional intervention by American and NATO forces in the Caucasus region in 1979. The resulting aircraft set is more basic and puts you in the skies with the simple, yet effective, F-5E Tiger II. Briefings and kneeboards are provided.

Operation Pontus Campaign by 373vFS_Greg, 373vFS_Petritis, Baltic Dragon

• Requirements: DCS: F/A-18C Hornet, DCS: Supercarrier
• Missions: Up to 30
• Price: $12.99 USD

This story driven dynamic DLC campaign by 373vFS_Greg, 373vFS_Petritis and Baltic Dragon focuses on a conflict driven by the mysterious death of the Georgian president. The campaign see’s you plan, design, and execute missions in a variety of scenarios both day and night. There’s an adaptive setup for the campaign which means that you could play up to 30 missions depending on your level of success.
