Another internal development project by the folks over at Just Flight has been revealed. This time it’s the Hawk T1/A Advanced Trainer and it’s reveal brings with it plenty of screenshots and some insight into how long we’ll have to wait for the aircraft to be released. Read on!
Advanced trainer
The Hawk is used by the RAF and at least 12 other countries as an advanced jet trainer and occasionally as a light fighter. It features a single Rolls-Royce Turbomeca Adour Mk. 951 turbofan engine, limited weapon capability (not coming to MSFS), and front seat/back seat controls. The Hawk is also used by the Red Arrows, the RAF’s aerobatic team, and Just Flight has already confirmed a Red Arrows livery will come with the aircraft.
Development to date has apparently focused on the visual aspect of the aircraft and Just Flight reports that work on this aspect is largely complete barring any minor tweaks. They expect to switch to programming the jet’s systems over the next few months.
That doesn’t give us too much to go on in terms of a release schedule, however, I would make a guess that we may see this sometime in the spring or early summer.
For now, check out these screenshots!
