If you primarily fly single player IL-2: Great Battles and are looking for a new challenge for yourself, I think this Ace of Aces PWCG community challenge may just be the thing you’re looking for.
Compete in the challenge

Pat Wilson’s Campaign Generator is one of the many ways that you can play IL-2: Great Battles and in this case it’s being used as the backdrop for a unique challenge. Varibraun, a community member on the IL-2 forums, has proposed the challenge and is keeping tabs on the progress of each member who chooses to take part.
In short, you’ll be competing against the real world records flying in aircraft and theatres that the real world versions of these aces were up against. They range from Litvyak, Clostermann and Johnson to Kozhedub, Mölders and Hartmann. The last one, Hartmann, is a particularly difficult challenge with a score of 353 required and already a half dozen members signed up to take that one on.
