Aerobask’s DA-50 is coming next week

A new trailer is out on the X-Plane.Org YouTube channel advertising that Aerobask’s new DA-50RG is due out next week. Let’s have a look!

Coming next week

The new trailer from X-Plane.org Store YouTube channel leads with the most poignant information: the DA-50 is coming next week! The trailer advertises the aircraft’s systems which include 4k PBR textures, FMOD sounds, X-Plane G1000 with custom EIS and synthetic vision, VR manipulators, as well as features like windshield reflections and AviTab support.

This is all, in short, the usual list of features we expect from Aerobask.

Also mentioned are two X-Plane 12 only features that will come later: rain and frost effects.

Stay tuned for more information next week.

EDIT: The X-Plane.org Store has been updated with the store entry listing the release date as March 15th and the $39.95 USD price tag.

Looks great, but I think Aerobask should use a different mrthod of activation or no activation at all.

Pretty much all X-Plane modules I’ve seen are using old school key codes from the last decade. I can’t see them changing any time soon either.

My X-Aviation login pops up every time I start a flight. Even when I’m not flying one authenticated by that service. It’s a bit bonkers.

Actually I prefer the X-Aviation activation system, did not have any issue with it so far.
It should show up only every 14 days or if there have been significant changes to your PC.

Shows up for me every time I start a flight. It’s a bit annoying for me.

Did thatt happen also with your old computer or just your new computer?
If you do not sign in it will show up again, since the plugin is loaded automatically.
If you do sign in, and it happens again and again you might have to reach out to X-Aviation support, maybe the hybrid core architecture is causing an issue with detection.

Old computer too. I just assumed they programmed it this (annoying) way.

Oh I forgot to ask you have a new CPU how is hybrid CPU architecture working out for you in practice?

Zero issues that I’ve seen so far. Win 11 is mostly at requirement to get the improved scheduler that can handle this kind of CPU. But no issues simming with it – it’s operation is transparent to me.
