A new campaign from Reflected Simulations is coming to DCS World called ‘Beware! Beware!’ with a historically authentic recreation of missions flown by Spitfire Mark IXs in 1942 and 1943. Let’s have a look!
Beware!
The motto of RAF No. 611 Squadron is ‘Beware! Beware!’ lending its name to the latest DCS WWII campaign by Reflected Simulations. This new campaign is a historically accurate and authentic recreation of the types of missions that No. 611 squadron flew. Reflected makes use of available archival information on the day to day operations of the squadron to build the 14-mission campaign around. Here’s part of what he said in his introductory video:
At the end of the day, such campaigns are utterly rewarding. All of the data and old typewritten text comes alive in a virtual reality.
Reflected
The campaign makes use of the DCS: The Channel Map. Reflected also notes that the campaign ends just a week before the DCS World ‘The Big Show’ campaign does and that campaign is followed-up by the Epsom Campaign offering a huge number of single player DCS: Spitfire IX action.
Beware! Beware! is expected to release “soon” so stay tuned for that! In the meantime, watch Reflected’s new video and listen in on what he has planned.
