DCS World tutorial creator RedKite is once again releasing a video featuring the as-yet released Mirage F1 from third party creator Aerges. This no-nonsense look at the types’ air-to-ground weapon systems gives us a clear indication on how to use the various types of ordinance available. Let’s have a look!

Push a button and ready the weapons

The more tutorials that RedKite puts out, the more I become convinced that the Mirage F1 will offer a great blend of performance, firepower, and ease of use. Most of the systems are relatively straight forward for those familiar with military combat jets and today’s look at the weapons panel reveals a relatively straightforward way to select, arm and use the F1’s air to ground weapons.

No additional status updates

Aerges nor Eagle Dynamics have released any additional status updates on this module. Last we heard was that the module had gone over to Eagle Dynamics for evaluation. That can be a lengthy process and its possible that the evaluation process had begun while systems were being integrated.

RedKite’s tutorials have given us an excellent picture of the status of some key components. From starting up cold and dark to using the weapon systems, the more tutorials that come out, the more we see systems that appear finished.

Hopefully we’ll see some more news soon on this module. I’m very excited about it!
