Prepare to fly the F1

In a sign that will surely be seen as another example of Aerges commitment to being another top tier developer, the manual for the DCS: Mirage F1 has been released. Here’s what they had to say about the release

It’s less than a week now to get your hands on the DCS: Mirage F1! We want you to be ready for the occasion and master the virtual skies on the 20th, this is why we are happy to share with you the first version of the Flight Manual that we are preparing, and that will get multiple improvements as we add new features and variants.

That statement comes bundled together with a link to the DCS: F1 PDF manual. This is a 132 page document with extensive information on the aircraft itself, the systems, features, and procedures. If you want to know the new F1 for DCS World in-detail, this is the document for you! It also means learning the aircraft at launch will be aided by this written document (and by the training videos that RedKite has supplied).

Let’s see, a “new” airliner addon released the other day for $70. I’m feeling really torn…

Ha – just kidding! They can keep their VNAV & magenta line. Let’s kick the tires, light the fires and REALLY fly!

This is such a smart way to easily and cheaply generate interest for a module debut.
