A brief update from the new ‘1CGS OFFICIAL MEDIA’ section of the IL-2 forum contains some previously unreleased screenshots of the in development StuG III Ausf.G Mobile Assault Gun. Here’s the latest!

StuG makes progress

Previously seen in early renders, we haven’t yet seen the in-game exterior model for the StuG III Ausf.G but we now have new screenshots that show us the interior. This Collector Vehicle went on sale several months ago and is now reaching completion just as the Churchill Mark IV did recently.

According to the post made by Wardog5711, the new IL-2 community manager, we will have to wait a bit longer for the exterior. That is not ready to be shown but is in final preparations.

You’ll also note that renders from the previously released Fw190D-9 are present in the thread. Although this aircraft has long since been completed, the renders appear new.
