Aerges teases DCS: Mirage F1EE update

A big update is just around the corner according to DCS World third party developer Aerges. A brief update on Facebook just a couple of days ago offers up some visual updates showing off the second variant of the Mirage F1 coming to DCS World. Let’s have a quick look!

Next up, the EE

The Mirage F1EE is the next version of the Mirage F1 coming to DCS World. This version of the Mirage F1 was intended to be a single-seat, all-weather, multi-role ground-attack aircraft. 22 were built for Spain (with similar numbers delivered to a wide variety of other customers).

This version of the aircraft is quite similar to the CE version but with the added INS system that gives the aircraft enhanced navigation capabilities. It also has a probe for inflight refueling.

The first image shows the navigation system while the other two images show us the probe and drogue method of aerial refueling in operation. Keep an eye on the Aerges Facebook page for more information soon.

Would like to give it a go on the free trials, but that will take several months at least. And my brain cells are limited and with the F-15E coming out I can’t see buying anything else that will require any kind of learning.

    A nice looking plane though.

Really looking forward to this update. And a Chucks Guide eventually. The manual is somewhat lacking.

I feel the F-4 and the F1 will be my go to aircraft.

    And the F18 of course.

Nice to look at, but not pursued to buy.

F-4 in 2022 appears to have been optimistic. I would pay EA at this stage to hurry for Jan / Feb 2023.

    Oh well…

Yeah unfortunately some of Heatblur’s devs (their artists) are Ukrainian and have not been able to be as productive as they hopped. https://stormbirds.blog/2022/10/29/an-update-on-the-dcs-f-4-phantom/
