Hornet EW page update also shows off DCS: Sinai

Matt Wagner is back for 2023 with an update on the DCS: F/A-18C Hornet. It’s been a bit since we’ve had one of these but it’s certainly welcome. This video is primarily focused on EW page updates for the Hornet but in the background we get a great look at DCS: Sinai. Let’s go!

EW page and Sinai in one!

The Hornet’s EW page displays information from the aircraft’s radar warning receiver and its an essential tool in a modern day jet fighter battle. It displays emitting radars from aircraft and ground emitters alike and this new update brings with it some new symbology and a few tweaks to the system. Neat!

In the background is DCS: Sinai and what I presume is Cairo. We get a good look at some of the buildings and points of interest including a really nice looking suspension bridge – I’ll definitely be flying under it at some point just for fun.

Have a watch!

If Daddy Wags is showing of the map like that I’m certain we’ll see it by end of Q2, Maybe it will be what follows the F-15E.

I wonder if they’ll stick to staggered releases every three months or so? They’ve got so much stuff on the burner right now it could take five-years to get it out at four modules a year.

I’d agree with you but I’m in a state of da Nile.
