New DCS: F-16C video talks RWR, tailhook, more

A bunch of new updates are on the way for the DCS: F-16C Viper and thanks to the latest video from Matt Wagner we know what some of these changes look and sound like

The RWR, tailhook, and more!

The DCS: F-16C is taking a few more steps towards being feature complete thanks to some additional updates to the project. The latest update involves some significant changes to the jet’s radar warning receiver. New symbology, new sounds, and new behaviors help make the system more accurate and also gives us even better awareness of what’s going on around us.

Matt also walks us through some new features like the alternate landing gear deployment system (in the event of a hydraulics failure) and the tail hook. Matt also heads off questions about an airfield based arrestor system but leaves the door open to future opportunities.

I spend much less time in the F-16 than in the Hornet, but it’s still a great module and it’s nice to see improvements. And it’s a beauty for SEAD, that’s for sure.

The other cool thing is it’s apparently in the multi threaded engine with DLSS support (apparently turned off because he forgot to turn it on…)
