Another significant release for the Microsoft Flight Simulator marketplace is out thanks to Carenado and their PA-28 Archer II. According to Carenado, this type was highly requested to make the jump to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Simple, stable, popular
This version of the famous Piper PA28 series comes to Microsoft Flight Simulator thanks to the team at Carenado. The PA28 181 Archer II apparently has quite a few fans as the type was highly requested and is the second PA28 to be released by the company after the PA28R Arrow III.
The release includes 8 liveries, Carenado tablet control, static elements, opening and closing doors, the usual spectacular texture and model quality from Carenado’s art team, and a mix of avionics options that includes a GNS430 with options of using the GTN750 from PMS5 or GTN750Xi from TDS Sim.
Carenado have decide to make this type available for $19.99 USD exclusively in the MSFS Marketplace. I’m not sure but this appears to represent a trend of pricing going down from the early days of Carenado’s GA releases as their Mooney M20R started out at $29.99 USD when it released a couple of years ago.
If this GA aircraft appeals to you be sure to visit the MSFS Marketplace to pick up your own copy!
