Baltic Dragon previews taxi and takeoff training for F-15E

Things are getting ever closer for DCS: F-15E and today we’ve got the latest bit of content thanks to a new video coming from DCS World mission maker Baltic Dragon. We’ve got a training mission that showcases the style that will be employed for training.

Short, quick missions

A few weeks ago, Baltic Dragon took to his Facebook page to talk about the training missions that he was working on for DCS: F-15E Strike Eagle. The plan with the new mission style was to make more shorter and more focused missions. This is what he said:

I’m going to break with the tradition of having long, overly complex sessions in favour of larger selection of much shorter ones, lasting max 10 minutes. So instead of flying a 40m sortie to learn about the navigation, you will have 5 or 8 more concise missions, each covering one system at a time. That also has an added value of being much better in terms of updating / troubleshooting later on.

I think this is a smart move and it makes repeating specific functionality much easier to do as you’ll be focused on the one thing that you wanted to know rather than repeating a whole series of different items.
