Proclaiming that they are “now 100% focused on the Falcon 8X,” X-Plane aircraft developer Aerobask have just released a new video showing off the latest efforts on the jet and, critically, its custom avionics system.
Falcon avionics
Aerobask have spent the last couple of years developing a custom avionics suite for their simulation of the Dassault Falcon 8X for X-Plane 12. The preview includes D-ATIS, METAR/TAF, and Navigraph chart integration right into the avionics suite.
There are also some beautiful shots of the aircraft in motion. While some have pointed out some obvious graphical maladies, those are more X-Plane 12 at this point than anything specific to the work that Aerobask have done. The avionics and cockpit as well as the external 3D model appear to be well modelled from what we’ve seen. Have a look!
looks like another winner from aerobask 🙂

Yeah! Very few things from X-Plane are topping my wish list these days but Aerobask and the Falcon I think I just have to have.

It looks amazing and seems to have been in development for years! It’s a shame it’s in X-Plane as I just can’t bring myself to fly in it these days.

I know what you mean. I do hope by the time Aerobask release this masterpiece in the making that X-Plane 12 is sitting in a better place.
I remain hopeful!
