AzurPoly reveal Jaguar as their next MSFS project

The SEPECAT Jaguar is the next project that aircraft maker AzurPoly are developing for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The developer has become well known thanks to their excellent work on their rendition of the C-160 Transall and the OV-10 Bronco. Now they are heading into fighter jet territory with the Jaguar A. Here’s what we know!

Bring on the cat

The Anglo-French SEPECAT Jaguar was a supersonic attack aircraft originally conceived for training but turned into a successful combat aircraft first flying in 1969 and beginning to see retirement starting in 2005. AzurPoly are planning to tackle the French version of the jet, the Jaguar A.

Here’s what they said about other versions:

We will already answer to the question “what about other versions?”. Other Jaguar versions are very different (two-seat or different avionics for other armies), hence we are first concentrating on the Jaguar A. We will decide later if we develop other versions. We could also find a compromise by developing different exterior models and keep the same interior, as we did for our Transall. For example, we know that the British GR.1 is wanted by many in our community.

They reportedly have access to real jets for scanning and even sound recording which is great news for those hoping to see an authentic recreation.
