Feeling creative? Grim Reapers running a July video contest

The Grim Reapers is offering up a new flying and video making contest for DCS World where you submit videos and they give away prizes which include some new modules for DCS World. Here are the details!

Rules and prizes

In a video released a couple of days ago, Cap from the Grim Reapers laid out the basic theme and the rules for the contest.

The subject matter involves ground attack of any kind including ship attack. The video must be a maximum of 30 seconds in length and the aircraft involved have to be human driven (opfor AI is still fine). You also have to be 18+ and you can’t use any music.

And of course no contest is complete without some prizes. The DCS Channel Map and DCS: P-47 are the first prize with a TrackIR, a couple of kneeboards (real ones from Black Hog), and finally there are some Flaming Cliffs 3 modules up for grabs including an A-10A, F-15C, MiG-29 and Su-33.

The contest will be running for the month of July. If you’re interested, check out the full video from The Grim Reapers below and find out more about how to enter. Good luck!

Are those the Grim Reapers that are constantly ridiculed and berated for their low quality DCS tutorials (low quality as in not useful enough for their asked price) on hoggit? If so, does one of the conditions of participation in the contest include giving up all rights on the self-made videos?

You’d have to check the contest information but it looks like you submit the video from your own YouTube (or other source) so… and I am not a lawyer… I would imagine the rights would rest with the artist. That is usually the case in most countries anyways.
