A Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays to all of my readers out there! Stormbirds is regularly read by people in nearly every country in the world so I wanted to take the opportunity to send positive thoughts and happy celebrations to everyone!
And of course a general happy holidays and best wishes to everyone including a belated Happy Chanukah (November 28th to December 6th), and a Happy Kwanza (December 26th to January 1st). There’s also a Merry Christmas to come for those who celebrate the Eastern Orthodox Christmas. That is happening on January 7th. Many of the developers that I cover here on the blog are going to be celebrating the holidays early in January so I expect updates will slow down for a short while from them as a result. And a well deserved rest to them!
Family celebrations have once again been reduced to the essentials for me this year but I will be taking a few days to rest, recuperate, eat some great food and drink some tasty beers and wines with the people who matter the most to me. I hope everyone gets a chance to take some time to do something similar. Best wishes to all!

Hey, I have been reading you daily for quite some time now.
I really appreciate your work on your insight.
I wish you well and a very happy celebrations with your family and friends for the holidays.
For me this year Christmas turned out to be a funeral. But as I opened your blog after a hell of a week, I started to reflect that it’s thing like this that helps us go through whatever we all have to endure all the time.
And the passion we all share, in this case flying stuff.
In any case, I just wanted to acknowledge that your work is truely appreciated and sometimes may means more than you may know or even expect.
